Can I attach another USB Cable to the Wi-Fire?
Absolutely. You can plug an additional USB extension cable either directly to the Wi-Fire, or plug it into the end of the retractable USB cable that was included with your purchase. However, please make sure that you use only USB 2.0 extension cables, and keep in mind that the total length of the cable cannot exceed 16 feet without having an impact on connection performance. Up to 16 feet, there’s no negative performance impact. If you want to go beyond 16 feet, you may have to use a USB 2.0 “Active” repeater.
