Does the Wi-Fire work on 802.11n networks?
The Wi-Fire will work on 802.11n networks, provided the 802.11n network is in its normal “Mixed Mode” and allows 802.11b/g devices to connect. The Wi-Fire itself does not use the 802.11n protocol, instead relying on the more ubiquitous 802.11b/g protocols, which are supported by 802.11n according to its specification. Be careful not to set your access point to the N-only mode (also sometimes referred to as “Greenfield” mode), which limits its ability to connect to most available networks.
