When I’m trying to connect to an access point or wireless network, why does the Wi-Fire Connection Manager only say “Connecting”?
This happens when the Wi-Fire is on the fringe of its range. Although the Wi-Fire has a powerful directional antenna, even this range has limits, and the Wi-Fire Connection Manager is trying to establish a connection with a poor signal. To increase the signal, try elevating the Wi-Fire and rotating it around, or placing it closer to a window. The Wi-Fire Connection Manager will help you determine the optimum position and orientation of the Wi-Fire in order to increase the signal to useable levels.
However, if you are showing a strong network connection (generally above 15 percent, though this will depend on your environment), the problem may be caused by improper setup, incorrect security information or not receiving permission to connect from the wireless network.
