“…Delivered unbelievable range. Best throughput at range, bar none.”
Maximum PC
“Our jaws really dropped as we moved the notebook ever further away: 350 feet from the router, with the signal passing through an insulated, double-thick interior wall and a steel garage door, the Wi-Fire delivered TCP throughput of 14.5Mb/s.”

“Significant improvement over my built-in chipset…Gave me unprecedented freedom.”
DigitalReviews Network
“The Wi-Fire gave me unprecedented freedom … I could sit at my corner cafe and be connected back into my own secure wireless network down the road instead of using their open hot spot. For me, just having the extra security of using my own access point would be worth the price alone.” Read more
“Wi-Fire Does WiFi Right!”
GadgetNutz.com
“The Wi-Fire is what WiFi should be about. Easy to use and reliable when connecting. I was absolutely amazed that it passed our ‘dead spot’ test so easily. It really made all of our previous attempts [at fixing the problem] look like the pitiful, underpowered, failures that they were.” Read more

“Hey! There’s my neighbor at the door, wanting to borrow my Wi-Fire. His network is down, and he needs to transfer some important work files. With a big grin, I’ll tell him my wife took the Wi-Fire to a friend’s for a demo, and she decided to stay there for a couple of days. I guess my neighbor will have to buy one for himself. Life is good. Nice job on this v1 Mac accessory innovation, hField.” Read more
“WiFire (Verdict: Unbelievably Powerful!)”

“…The Wi-Fire is THE accessory that we had been wanting for years but never knew to ask for. “When I plug in my hField Wi-Fire and point it in the right direction, I suddenly get an ‘excellent’ connection.”

“I’m staying at Bear Creek park in Asheville, NC this week. Bear Creek is one of those parks that has put the effort into installing top notch equipment (Cisco outdoor access points). My spot is about 150 feet from the nearest antenna, and I’m only able to get what my laptop reports as a ‘poor’ connection at about 1MB/sec. But when I plug in my hField Wi-Fire and point it in the right direction, I suddenly get an ‘excellent’ connection…. If you depend on WiFi connections, even at Flying-J truck stops, this may be just what you need.” Read more
“Perfect for broke students or business types”
CrunchGear.com
“If you’re cheap like me, then the Wi-Fire is something you should look into for your Internet needs. I can see at least 15 networks around my apartment, but most are encrypted or the signal is too weak. Thanks to this fancy compact range-extending USB device, I was able to pick up signals as far as 1,000 feet away…. It’s perfect for broke students or business types whose company are too cheap to supply them with a broadband card. I hate having to install bloatware on any laptop/PC, but the Wi-Fire makes it worth the time and HDD space. The UI is easy to navigate and provides the stats of all the signals around. I knew it was working properly when it picked up a friend’s network who lives across the street.” Read more
“The Wi-Fire has received coveted media attention wide and far, and demand is peaking.”
The Rokland eBay Blog
“…hField has helped out by lowering the price point of the product all the way down to where we can afford to sell it for just $79.99 plus shipping. Not bad at all for a 500mw USB adapter with a 10 dBi gain directional antenna. Not bad at all. Oh, and did we mention it is not only compatible with Windows XP and Vista, but Apple Macintosh OS 10.3, 10.4, and 10.5 (Leopard) as well?” Read more
